Lynda is a very experienced physiotherapist with extensive training in musculoskeletal and pelvic health physiotherapy. She is credentialed in the McKenzie System of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) and has taught an introduction to this system to the senior Physical Therapy students at the University of Toronto.
Lynda has completed many advanced training courses in pelvic health to address issues with pelvic pain, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, post-prostatectomy physiotherapy and several other conditions.
Lynda mentors other clinicians in clinical reasoning and advanced techniques in both musculoskeletal and pelvic health conditions in order to assist in their development. She is passionate about educating patients to understand the source of their issue, so that as a team they can move forward together.
Lynda grew up in London, Ontario and has always been active in sports and fitness. She now lives in Mississauga with her husband and two kids.
Joelle Li is a Registered Physiotherapist who obtained her Bachelor of Science at McMaster University in the Honours Life Sciences program, followed by her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University. After having first-hand experience with physiotherapy in her youth, she developed a passion and appreciation for the field of rehab. Joelle is very focused on promoting patient/family-centred care, patient education and is using her knowledge and experiences to enhance the quality of life of others. She has participated in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Orthopaedic Division Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) physiotherapy program and successfully completed their Level 2 Exams. Joelle has also taken courses in McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, Pelvic Health – Incontinence, Pelvic Organ Prolapse and Pelvic Pain, Soft Tissue Release and Taping, and other post-graduate courses to advance her clinical knowledge to help each patient.
Beatrice is a registered physiotherapist in both Hong Kong and Canada. She completed her physiotherapy degree at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Prior to that, she obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology (Health & Disease) at the University of Toronto. Since she returned to Canada in 2020, she has been focusing on developing her skills in orthopedic and pelvic health physiotherapy. She enjoys working with patients to address their pelvic health issues such as incontinence, pelvic pain and pelvic organ prolapse. Beatrice is also passionate about utilizing the McKenzie System of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) to promote effective treatments including education on exercises, ergonomics and self-care to empower patients on ongoing self-management and recurrence prevention.
Beatrice has clinical experience in treating musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiopulmonary conditions in hospitals, long-term rehabilitation, and private settings. With her vision and mission in an East-meets-West approach, her treatment involves techniques such as manual therapy, soft tissue release, electrotherapy, education, and customized exercise prescription. For Beatrice, the ultimate goal is to incorporate innovative rehabilitation ideas into patients’ everyday lives and to help them get healthy and stay healthy.
Beatrice is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)
Keri Edwards has been a passionate Registered Massage Therapist for the past 15 years serving her patients across the GTA. After graduating with honours from Everest College, Keri has worked in a variety of medical clinics where she has applied her trade in pregnancy massage, chronic pain, fascial, TMJ, piriformis syndrome, whiplash, sciatica, deep tissue, breast and trigger point release. She specializes in advanced techniques in head, neck and shoulder and hot stone therapies. Keri believes massage is not a luxury but rather a necessity for the everyday stresses that the body encounters.
Keri’s approach to massage focuses on preventative care and wellness paired with a comprehensive home care plan.
Nasha is our office administrator. Always friendly and happy to help, she will take care of any of your scheduling and billing questions.
A long-time physiotherapy patient over the years due to post-concussion syndrome, Nasha has experience being on the other side of the desk as well. She brings empathy and understanding to the job, and will treat you with the importance and care you deserve.
Outside the clinic, Nasha enjoys yoga and visual arts, hosts drawing/painting cafés and writing circles, and has recently taken an interest in the field of art therapy.
Namrata is our evening admin assistant, taking care of our evening patients and keeping things running smoothly throughout the week.
Morgan is our Saturday admin assistant, working with Nasha and Namrata to stay on top of things over the weekend!
